About The Redemption of Eden
Book One of the Eden Chronicles By Sharron McAdams
Before the Flood. Before the nations. Before history remembered their names—there was a family learning how to live in a world changed forever.
The Redemption of Eden is a sweeping Christian novel that reimagines the earliest generations after the Garden. Adam and Eve now walk outside Paradise, raising children who will never know the world as it once was. Their daughter Eden, born into a world of both beauty and brokenness, wrestles with her place in a story shaped by choices made long before her birth.
Protected by the angel Azariah—sent not to shield her from life, but to guide her through it—Eden must confront jealousy, grief, faith, and the fierce longing to be seen and known. As shadows of pride and resentment grow within the family, the cost of a single choice begins to echo across generations.
This is not simply the story of the Fall. It is the story of what came after— of love strained, hope pursued, and redemption unfolding in the heart of one young woman who was never meant to be lost.
With vivid world-building, emotional depth, and spiritual resonance, The Redemption of Eden by Sharron McAdams invites readers to step into the dawn of humanity—where every sunrise is a beginning, and every soul carries the promise of God’s redeeming love.
I’m very moved by what I’ve read. The rhythm of it flows so gracefully. Your descriptions puts me right there. I can see such clear pictures of this world that’s fallen but yet so rich with life. You capture so well this world without droughts and scorching sunlight. The themes that you’re working with are also very compelling. What I gather is essentially a tug of war between worship to God and idolatry. It’s fascinating to think of this struggle at its beginning.

While reading this story, I was immediately excited because the content was true to Biblical narrative. Although most of the characters are extra-biblical, they come across as very believable. The plot itself was genius. Showing the reader what may have happened in the earliest times to the first daughter of Adam and Eve is thought provoking and refreshing. I enjoyed the lyrical style that often comes across poetic with vivid images that keep the mind fully engaged. From one chapter to the next chapter, the plot’s intrigue kept me thinking “what happens next.” I look forward to the rest of the trilogy.
